Meeting Goals
“A” has been in our Transitional Program since the beginning of 2023. We have worked side by side to help her with housing, transportation, and employment. Through our amazing board and committee members we were able to locate a car and give it to Allison along with one year of insurance so she has reliable transportation. We are continuing to work together to help with her goals to become more financially stable, develop her professional life, and provide a good life for her kids.
“K” and “C”
Two families have children who have been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that occurs in the bones or soft tissue around the bones. We jumped at the opportunity to help them. We provided gift cards to a variety of stores and restaurants and set up a March Madness Fundraiser which raised $600 for each of these amazing families.
“K” and “C” have great attitudes. C’s favorite class is aviation and she hopes to be a pilot one day. K enjoys video games. Our thoughts and prayers are with both children as they continue their fight.
Update
While visiting with the family, we noticed some leaks and issues with their roof. Combining efforts with St. Vincent De Paul, we were able to cover the cost of a new roof for the family. They were beyond grateful and we were so happy to help this incredible family.
