What We Do
Transitional Housing Project
A once independent individual or family can find themselves homeless due to job loss, health issues, divorce, domestic abuse, substance use disorder, or a personal or family crisis. Without a support network, they quickly spiral. Transitional Housing provides temporary housing and offers support, stability and services which might include life skills training, education, mental health services, and so much more.
Our objective is to provide safe temporary homes to individuals and/or families while setting the groundwork to alter the trajectory of their lives. The goal is to empower them with the tools, knowledge, experience and confidence to secure long term housing and become financially independent before graduating from our program.
Lifting Up STL is proud to announce plans for a new build made possible by a very generous donation of a residential lot in Affton. Architectural plans will be posted soon!
Community Support
We are dedicated to supporting and uplifting our local community in St. Louis. We organize events that raise funds to support our various projects, ensuring we can continue making a meaningful difference. Our team also actively volunteers with other organizations, helping them meet their goals while fostering collaboration.
Additionally, we are always looking for ways to assist individuals and families in need, whether it's through direct support or connecting them to resources. Through these efforts, we strive to make a lasting positive impact on the Affton community and the greater St. Louis area.
